Companies outsource many jobs these days. No wonder the job market in Third World countries like India, China is replete with so many BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), and other jobs. Outsourcing benefits all the parties involved. Today, a lot of youth are finding employment and making a good career in these fields. If not for these outsourced jobs from the US, UK and other western countries, a lot of youngsters, retired people and even housewives would have not have got a chance to support themselves financially. Some people take up these outsourced jobs as a part time employment to supplement their main income, while others are seriously making flourishing careers out of them. First the media made us believe that we were buried deep in debts till our nose and the economy was shrinking by leaps and bounds every month. The giants fell quicker than the sand leaving thousands of dejected and misfortunate faces on the street to search some other working shelter. Then the same media represented glittering faces of murky politicians that declared our laudable comeback with healthier statistics of economy and new jobs. Hey all employers, I know you’ve suffered the recession too, and are hard-pressed for funds. Naturally, you have no option but to slash your human resource costs. Fine! But who’s told you that you’ve got to be cruel to your employees while doing that?
