Don’t Stop Dining Out Anymore For Saving Money

I really feel sorry for those of us who’ve stopped dining out for saving money. The other day, when I went to a popular restaurant in the peak hours, I found most of the seats empty and even those that were full had small servings of some snacks.  A sumptuous meal has become a rare extravagance in the present times!  I’m not the only observer of this trend. A market survey done by Mintel says that number of outside diners has reduced to half of past year. Can you believe it- more than 80 percent of us are content with homemade simple dishes? Yeah, I know the recession has compelled most of us to curtail our expenditure on little pleasures that actually make life worth living! But tell me, do you really feel like eating simple food at home when you’re on a holiday mood? We’ve had enough! Let’s not succumb to the recession. It’s so dumb to compromise with our enjoyable lifestyles. Intelligence is about managing everything in life without compromising on any one. Here are some handy tips that you can peruse to dine out and have fun!

Hunt For Those Attractive Low Priced Menus

According to restaurant Industry Research Analyst, Nicole Miller Regan, now you can eat out at very low prices. Some restaurants with bizarre rates, which you wouldn’t have dreamt of visiting during the recession, are offering highly discounted menus. Recession has made customers, Gods. So you can always walk into one of these restaurants and feast on your favorite roasts and desserts.

Get Rewarded For Eating

As I said earlier, customers are gods! These days you get attractive rewards like airline tickets, college fee savings perks for eating out. You earn points for using credit cards. Rewards Network and Upromise Rewards are reward programs that offer you rebates up to 8 % for dining out that is put in your student saving accounts. Avail such Dine Outprograms and make the most of it. Instead of paying up in cash, make convenient credit and debit card payments. But beware, especially students, of your tendency to overspend and get into huge debts!

Avail Reservation Discounts

Some restaurants are offering discounts on reserving your seats beforehand. Go for it! This has the double advantage of you not disappointing yourself due to seat unavailability on arriving at the restaurant. Will you want to have dinner at 6 P.M. for a thirty percent discount? Well, I might not actually, but it’s not a bad idea during this economically tough times. Starve a bit during your afternoon meal and you’ll be ready for your dinner at 6. I really don’t mind eating early when there’s a special menu. Go to Dinner Broker. This website gives you this offer.

The other offers that are available are some special recession menus. For example, earlier some restaurants that used restaurantto serve full course meals are serving individual courses like appetizers, main course and desserts. Take your pick from them.

There are many other attractive features like coupons, etc. which you can avail for eating out with a small pocket. Just go ahead and enjoy!
