I Know Why You Are Not Rich
You always blame your luck, whenever you see a person driving his black, long Mercedes. You wonder what wrong have you don’t in your past lives that you are reside in a broken house and what that little brat did to get it all. Sometimes you think of planning a bank robbery when unpaid bills are scattered all over the places with no money to even post the check.
You kept blaming. You kept wondering. And you kept planning. Did you try to think any new and genuine ways to earn except bank robbery? Did you try to take any additional efforts except blaming than make your tomorrow better than today? I am sure the answer is no.
Before we proceed, let me tell I am that rich guy that you envy. I have the black Mercedes and a house like a palace. And I really hate when people keep blaming their luck or parents instead of doing something. I am an orphan and you call me lucky. I don’t know who my parents are and they didn’t leave me any fortune to enjoy like a brat.
So, what made me rich? What did I do that you didn’t?

Your Expenses are more than your Income
You don’t have money to pay your bills that clearly explains that you have spent all your income. Why? Don’t you know you have bills to pay? Don’t you know there can be times when you urgently need money? You do know, but who cares about spending less? You just know to spend more and blame your luck. Change your thoughts. Change your habits. Leave your friends if the money you spend is due to them. Have the passion in you to do whatever it takes to spend less.

You never learned saving
Check you saving account and tell me if you have saved any substantial amount in past 5 years. I am sure you
didn’t. You don’t have money to pay the bills, how can I expect you to save anything. But I won’t really say that you never thought of saving money. You did. But you postponed it. Why should you abstain from enjoying today, if you have an option of saving tomorrow? That’s your problem. You have choices and you select the one which takes away more money. That’s your definition of enjoyment. The more you spend, the more you enjoy.Stop being a victim. If you want money, you and only you can do it. Don’t wait for a heavenly voice to inform you about the right day to start saving. Do it today. Everyday. Every month.

You use your credit card, bills of which are never paid
Since childhood, I have never owned even a single credit card. The cash that is left saving is my cash limit or ‘credit limit’, as you may call it. How can I spend more if I don’t have any cash or a credit card? Okay. The trouble comes when you don’t have funds to pay the full amount due on your credit card. So you keep paying minimum payment and interest all your life because you don’t stop spending through credit card. And you blame the sins of your past lives. Don’t follow what the most population is doing if you don’t want to be one of them. Why is it that 10% of the population enjoys the benefits that are even unheard by the other 90%? It’s because of their financial habits.

You never do budgeting

Probably this point should appear before the 2nd point. However, I don’t care about my writing habits. I care only about things which save money. And one of them is budgeting. I am very particular about because I want to know where my money is going. It is never the case with you. Every month end, you keep wondering where your money goes. Ha! You keep spending on unnecessary things unconsciously because you are not habituated to budgeting. Budgeting? To some it sounds extraterrestrial, to some it’s a childish behavior. Every individual who is rich and want to be rich has a budget. He wants to where how much money he has, how much can he spend, and where can he save. If it sounds childish, why do companies and nations have budget?

You desire more
You go to college or your workplace and you want to show off something that makes you feel important. Something distinct from others. Either you want to buy a mobile phone that’s launched yesterday or you want the best modified car. Tell me; is it really going to matter after 20 years what you did in college? The only thing that will matter is how hard you work and how much you save.
You don’t even know much money you can save on each point mentioned above. However, that amount would be enough to make you rich if you follow these points quickly and regularly. Till then, keep blaming.
