Motivational Measures
You know what; business can be very well defined as a merry-go-round. You can never stay on a particular place, even if it is on the top or even the very beginning or depressed situation. Just mind that the situation is bound to change, so keeping our self most motivated and enthusiastic to boost your self up for any situation is the safest way of business.
A philosopher has nicely said “hope for the best and be ready for the worst.” The same thing applies for the business. Sometimes we feel downgraded that even after making some harsh and thrash efforts, you earn nothing or very little. Maybe you’ve been trying to kick-start your business and it just hasn’t worked yet. Maybe you’ve just started but you’re already frustrated. Or maybe you’ve wanted to hit that next level for years and haven’t been able to get there. It pinches, obviously but as I said earlier, this is also a temporary situation and definitely going to change.
Sometimes it makes effect more on mind than on business. We might be seeing very long term effect and worrying but believe me; situation change hardly takes a time. It’s important not to loose the confidence in those times and to keep on trying without bothering hard and harsh for the results. Talk with your senses in comfort and motivate them by saying, “hey man, I can do it.”
These are some important tips which are strong enough to give you relief in the critical depressing moments.
1) It’s just a temporary scene
As I said earlier, the scene must be the temporary. There are some movies with the length of 90 minutes and some of 180 minutes also but the common factor between all the movies is that every movie has an end. So, don’t focus on the length of your tries and efforts but see the end result which is always going to be positive.
All that you need to know is that nothing is permanent. All things change, even if it seems that they don’t. It’s simply a law of nature, nothing stays the same forever. The universe is constantly moving, evolving, and changing, and so are you. So instead of seeing this as a never ending path into darkness, know that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and every day, it’s getting closer. And as soon as you get a new client, sell your first product, or hit that next target, everything within you will shift.
2) Focus the end point
People sometimes just forget what they are searching and fighting for. It may happen that when there is absolute darkness around you and you fine just a candle light and gets satisfied. But, that time we forget that our end goal wasn’t a candle, it was a halogen which is still to get. So, always keep a habit of reminding your self of your goal.
For example, if you started your business so you could eventually free up enough time to spend with your family, but you’ve been working for a long time and haven’t seen the results you’d expected or hoped for, your goal may have shifted from “be with my family” to “make my business work.” This has exactly the opposite effect than you originally intended. By shifting your priorities, now you’re probably spending less time with your family.
I usually recommend people that the thinking or even listening effect is no where even near to the visual effect. Television is the live example of it. Between radio and television, television always makes a game. So, even to remind own self silently or loudly, I feel the still better option is to write it in a board in front of your workspace. Just write down the end goal and the very immediate step towards it.
Meditation is also a good and handy useful instrument to achieve the goal. Just an alarm of the day to day work is also a nice way to be in touch. Think innovatively every time for the immediate ways, so that you don’t get bored up with your goal.
3) Faith you more than fate
It may be a case that after trying hard you lose confidence on yourself and start believing that failure is your fate. But, don’t ever do that. It may be hard but not impossible to trust you. Get started with collecting all your successful jobs and activities, write them down, read them and you’ll find how capable you actually are!! Never demoralize your self. The situations are temporary but you are the one who is permanent.
Another great idea to motivate is that you ask your friends and clients to share heir views about you. This is one of the best ways according to the psychologists. May be someone’s comment can built up confidence of our own. It is a human tendency to believe what others believe for us. So, ask them, read their views and go positive. If there are some negative views, don’t worry man, they are a learning ladder for you. But, just bug up and raise your morale.
4) Shout for help before situation shouts
Even after reading this, if you find that the situations are stronger than you, don’t be ashamed or shy. Shout for the help of those whom you believe. If the business is going out of your control,
There’s obviously something going on. Before things go too far, before you get lost and become totally unmotivated, get help!
Try harder to analyze the situation to find the reason rather than mistakes. It is yet possible that the problem may be with your business — it could be a branding issue, a marketing issue, or maybe just you aren’t giving your clients what they want. Hire a consultant who can turn your business inside out finding ways to improve your results. The problem may also lie within — you yourself might benefit from some “fine-tuning.” Hire a coach and work through any roadblocks that may be getting in the way of your success. Hire a mentor and model his/her behavior. Or if you’re struggling with self-discipline and need a budget solution, ask a reliable friend to be your accountability partner so you both can improve.
The moment you’ll find the reason of your failure and will work on the reasons loyally, the situation is bound to change. Be a master of your abilities, no slavery of situations further. Get your self motivated by any of the reasons stated or even what you find better for you.
If there is something motivated and innovative in your life, which can help others, share with us.
